Music Generation Limerick City’s team of musicians are gearing up for a massive summer of music-making.
Over 30 days of sessions with teenagers across the city – all free.
The Music Gen Express Tour of Limerick – 7 camps in 7 weeks.
Our tutor team is getting on the bus and covering every corner of Limerick, with a series of three day camps every week for seven weeks (in partnership with Limerick Youth Service).
Each week will be a standalone project, so you can come along to one, some, or all of them. The format will be the same for all of them – working with some of Limerick’s finest musicians, creating and making new music.

Music Generation Live at the Pery
Our free festival returns, scaled up to become the first ever Music Generation National Song-writing Showcase for young people – Pery Square, Sunday June 26.

All Music Generation Limerick City Programmes are free to the young people.
Music Generation Limerick City is a music education service for children and young people. It is part of Music Generation – Ireland’s National Music Education Programme, initiated by Music Network, co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education and Skills and Local Music Education Partnerships. Locally, Music Generation Limerick City is managed by Limerick City Music Education Partnership and receives matched funding from a number of local organisations.
